My name is Jasmine Kang (but I go by Jassy) and I am the creator and brow guru behind Jassy x Brows and eventually Studio Muse.

As early as I could remember, I carried a special aptitude for art and was enrolled in countless art classes from sketching to water colouring. With my instinctive eye and love for aesthetics, it was no surprise that I was quickly sucked in by the world of makeup in my mid to late teens. My love for beauty continued throughout university. During exam season, when most students showed up to the final with no sleep nor makeup, I dressed and looked to the nines. I did this because looking good made me feel good, and this confidence is what helped me excel in many areas of my life.

I truly believe that when you put your best face forward, it empowers you and opens up more opportunities to accelerate in life.

In 2015, I graduated with a BBA from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto. In 2017, while working full time at Canada's largest tech and media company, I took the opportunity to combine my business acumen, artistic eye, and a thirst to be my own boss. And voilà, Jassy x Brows was born! In 2018, I quit my full time job to join Chronic Ink Tattoos and officially kickstarted my cosmetic tattooing career. In 2020, I opened my first studio at 190 Jarvis street, Toronto - a cozy abode nested inside a local cafe. I craved for more space and opportunities, so in 2021, I moved into the now Studio Muse, at 358 John St, Thornhill.

 

What differentiates Jassy x Brows is my instinctive eye for aesthetics and my educated approach to enhancing my clients' appearance while preserving as much natural beauty as possible. I have been certified 7 times by well known PMU artists for powder brows as well as lip blush.

 

My goal is to use beauty to influence positive change. I help clients become the best version of themselves by looking (and thus feeling) their best.

Since joining the world of Permanent Makeup in 2018, I have dedicated over 1000 hours to perfecting my artistry and have met over 600 amazing clients. I am most humbled by clients who have travelled internationally to see me.
